Club Info
This is a friendly club and welcomes keen racers, family sailors and beginners to sailing. The Club has excellent facilities with 90 acres of water in attractive countryside, at Boddington Reservoir 7 miles north of Banbury, where members can sail at pretty much any time. The club has built up over many years an excellent clubhouse and facilities on site to which members have access at all times. If you are not sailing, the club provides an excellent base for an interesting walk around the reservoir to watch the birds and other wildlife.
The GP14 has fleet status at the club and if you would like to find out more or arrange a trial sail, send the Class Captain, Ian Davies, an Email with with your telephone number & address or go down to the club on a Sunday afternoon.
Directions
The Club lies about two miles from Byfield on the A361 Banbury to Daventry road between the villages of Byfield and Upper Boddington.
The entrance to the club site lies at the back of the public car park for Boddington Reservoir. The gate to the club site is usually locked so please park your car in the public car park and walk up the road to the Clubhouse.
